The deal signed on Saturday envisages that the two firms will jointly transport 600 million cubic meters of gas from Uzbekistan.
Gas fields in the Ferghana Valley in northern Uzbekistan will provide 100 mcm of gas, while deposits in central Uzbekistan will provide the remaining 500 mcm.
No further details on the agreement were released by Xinjiang Guanghi.
