Uzbekneftegaz denies reports on fire of Mubarek Gas Processing Plant

The press service of Uzbekneftegaz stated that information, published in some foreign mass media on supposedly fire at Mubarek Gas Processing Plant, is not true.

The company said that gas blowout occurred at the well of Chulkuvar field, which was eliminated with own forces of specialists of Uzbekneftegaz.

Chulkuvar field has no relation to the Mubarek Gas Processing Plant. There were no victims or injuries. Currently, Chulkuvar field is working in usual mode.

The company said that it installed necessary equipment to control gas flow at the well and direct gas to gas processing plants.
