Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekkino completed filming in the territory of Uzbekistan of the film “Ilkhak”, dedicated to the 75th anniversary of victory in World War II. At the same time, the agency’s leadership said that the film crew was sent to Belarus, where the shooting of military scenes for the film would take place.
The historical film Ilhak is based on real events. This film tells the tragic story of Zulfiya Zakirova from the village of Khanabad, Zangiata district of Tashkent region, who lost five sons in the war: Isokjon, Ahmadjon, Muhammadzhon, Vakhobjon and Yusufjon Kholmatovs.
“The idea of creating the film belongs personally to the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev,” said the head of Uzbekkino Firdavs Abdukhalikov.
“Initially, it was planned that the film would be shot only about events that took place on the territory of Uzbekistan. However, later the script was supplemented with battle scenes that describe how the sons of Zulfiya Zakirova heroically fought and died on the battlefields,” said film director Jahongir Akhmedov.
“We have already been to Belarusfilm and agreed with colleagues on joint work on this film,” Akhmedov added.
“We consider it extremely important to show the courage and courage of the Uzbek people who gave their lives in deadly battles in World War II, since there are very few military films in our country that show the courage of our soldiers on the battlefields. In this regard, we thank the government for allocating an additional amount of US$200,000 to implement this idea,” Firdavs Abdukhalikov emphasized.
