Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - Uzbek citizens will see 30 new movie premieres during the celebration of Navruz.
For meaningful filling of the television broadcasting space, Uzbekkino for free transfers 750 units of materials from the cinema fund to state and non-state television channels. The action has already started with the transfer of the first tranche of more than 250 film materials - documentaries and feature films (2015-2018), cartoons (2010-2018), short films and the children’s favorite magazine magazine Zumrash (2016-2018).
Also, “Uzbekkino” will broadcast 30 new documentary films to the channels, the premieres of which were scheduled for the next two weeks. Among them are the releases of 2019 - “Qoqand Shamoli”, “Avloniy”, “1 Augus” and others.
“Our goal is to ensure a meaningful time spent by the population of the country, especially the younger generation, on quarantine days, including for our fellow citizens who stay at home with their children,” said Firdavs Abdukhalikov, Director General of Uzbekkino. - We are grateful to state and non-state television channels for supporting our proposal. I am sure that the joint holding of such an action will not only diversify the leisure of those who remain at home, but will also draw attention to modern domestic cinema.
Following the recommendations of the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan on measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus, entertainment mass events, including movie theaters, were suspended in the country.
At the same time, educational institutions are quarantined, all public events are canceled.
