Uzbekistan’s presentation takes place in Chicago

Embassy of Uzbekistan in the United States organized a presentation of economic, investment and tourism potential of Uzbekistan within the Silk Road Conference in Chicago, Jahon news agency reported.
Technology University of Illinois organized the conference. Representatives of the US companies, diplomatic corps, delegations of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, China, Uzbekistan and Turkey participated at the event.
At the event, Uzbekistan presented its economic and investment potential, created conditions for foreign investors, proposed projects in various industries, potential of free industrial zone Navoi, special industrial zones Angren and Jizzakh.
The participants also familiarized with achievements in tourism sector, rich historic-cultural heritage and sights of Uzbekistan.
The Uzbek delegation held meetings and negotiations with the US companies. The sides discussed establishment and development of cooperation.
