Uzbekistan’s Population Surpasses 37.8 Million

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — As of 1 July 2025, the permanent population of Uzbekistan reached 37,859,698 people, according to the National Statistics Committee.

This represents a 2 percent increase compared to the same period in 2024.

Of the total population, 19.1 million are men and 18.8 million are women.

Approximately 19.3 million people reside in urban areas, while around 18.6 million live in rural areas.
