Uzbekistan’s peanut exports increase by 47.6% in Q1 2025
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In the first quarter of 2025, Uzbekistan exported 4.3 thousand tonnes of peanuts, marking a 47.6% increase compared to the same period last year, according to the National Statistics Committee.
As of early April 2025, the value of peanut exports reached $4.1 million. Kazakhstan was the largest importer, receiving 1.8 thousand tonnes of Uzbek peanuts. It was followed by Azerbaijan with 531.4 tonnes and Pakistan with 496.9 tonnes.
Significant volumes were also exported to Russia (374.2 tonnes), Turkmenistan (321.2 tonnes), and China (268 tonnes).
