The resolution was adopted to create additional conditions for development of football, improve its role in strengthening of health and physical training of population, boost activity of football federations in Karakalpakstan Republic, regions and Tashkent city in coordination and support of the football development.
In line with the document, football federations of Karakalpakstan Republic, regions and Tashkent city were entrusted to coordinate development of all types of football, including professional and amateur.
Federations will also assist football clubs and teams in preparation and participation in territorial, national and international football competitions.
Regional federation will be responsible for organization and holding of football competition among wide layers of population, monitoring of development children and youth sport schools on football at the local clubs, including those responsible for preparation of youth teams of Uzbekistan and reserves for football clubs.
Football federations in the regions will also entrusted to train, re-training and improve skills of football players, coaches and referees, as well as other specialists in their territories.
Football Support Fund of Uzbekistan will finance 50% of salary fund of the regional football federation, the document underlined.
The Fund will also allocate 8 billion soums in equal shares for construction of new and reconstruction of existing children-youth sport schools on football under the professional clubs in 2010.
The government entrusted local administrations and the Uzbekistan Football Federation to develop project documentations on capital reconstruction of central stadiums Ferghana (Ferghana city), Navbakhor (Namangan city) and Dinamo (Samarkand city) in a month. The government ordered to carry out capital reconstruction of these three stadiums in line with international standards till the start of 2011 season.
