Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In Uzbekistan, the first seven months of 2024 saw a decrease in electricity generation.
According to data from the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan, the country produced 42.8 billion kWh of electricity from January to July 2024, marking a 5.5% decrease compared to the same period in 2023.
Similarly, thermal energy production declined by 4.2% during this period, totaling 15.06 million Gcal.
Additionally, 49.24 million cubic meters of coal gasification gas were produced in the reporting period, representing a 10.63% decrease compared to the previous year.
