Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Khalillilo Turakhuzhaev, Chairman of Uzbekistan’s Competition Committee, held a meeting with Sabine Ziegelski, an expert from Germany’s Federal Cartel Office (Bundeskartellamt).

The meeting was also attended by Lia Grauberger, Head of Consumer Rights and Competition at the German international cooperation organization German Sparkassenstiftung.

During the discussion, the parties reviewed the results of a training seminar held from 27 to 29 May this year, organized by the German Federal Cartel Office with the support of German Sparkassenstiftung to enhance the professional skills of Competition Committee staff. Following the discussion, they agreed to continue holding similar practical seminars and training sessions in the future.

Additionally, the meeting addressed further development of cooperation and coordination between Uzbekistan’s Competition Committee and Germany’s Federal Cartel Office.

Chairman Khalillilo Turakhuzhaev expressed gratitude to the guests for their practical support in organizing the training seminar and congratulated them on its successful completion.
