Uzbekistan’s Cadet Judo Team Tops Medal Table at Asian Championship

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — At the Asian Cadet Judo Championship, which concluded today in Indonesia, the Uzbekistan team delivered an impressive performance, securing 3 gold, 1 silver, and 6 bronze medals across various weight categories.

Gold medals were claimed by Jurabek Eshpulatov (-90 kg), Alibek Durdiev (+90 kg), and Intizor Uzakbaeva (-70 kg). Silver went to Maftuna Akhmedova (-57 kg), while bronze medals were won by Sa’dulla Ravshanov and Daulet Turdiarov (-73 kg), Inomjon Bakhodirov (-90 kg), Gulsanam Khazratkulova (-57 kg), Zuhra Umarova (-63 kg), and Zarina Bobonazarova (+70 kg).

Overall, the Uzbek team amassed 7 gold, 3 silver, and 8 bronze medals, securing first place in the overall team standings of the championship.
