Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbek artists have been called upon to uphold modesty and refrain from religious promotion in their work. These topics were discussed at the “Artist’s Ethics” gathering, organized by the state institution Uzbekkoncert, according to the press service of the Ministry of Culture.

The meeting emphasized the importance of adhering to licensing requirements, prohibiting religious propaganda in concert activities, and strictly following the Constitution and national legislation.

A key focus was placed on preserving Uzbekistan’s national values, morality, and cultural heritage. Performers were urged to avoid spreading false information, defamation, and rumors that could harm the reputations of their colleagues.

Artists were also reminded of the necessity to observe public decorum, respect traditions, and refrain from flaunting extravagant lifestyles.

Additionally, discussions covered song content, copyright protection, and the need to increase the production of compositions that promote patriotism and love for the homeland.
