Uzbekistan will hold its first match against Oman on 10 September and next matches on 12 and 14 September.

Askar Tolibdjanov, director of National teams Center of the UFF, said that the center is doing its best to ensure optimal preparation of youth team to the AFC Championship. Uzbekistan U-16 should book a spot in the World Cup and the center organized friendly with Japan to fulfill this task.

Tolibdjanov said that Uzbekistan U-16 is training in Tashkent as the final stage of the tournament will be held in the Uzbek capital.

Uzbekistan was placed to Group A along with Tajikistan, Jordan and Indonesia.
