Ministry of Culture and Sport Affairs of Uzbekistan, Tashkent city administration and Uzbekistan Badminton Federation organized the championship.
The competition was held in five directions – boy’s single, girl’s single, boys’ doubles, girls’ doubles and mixed.
Azamat Sultanov won the tournament among boys at the age of 10-12. Omonullo Qosimov from Khorezm was the second and Refat Settarov from Navoi – the third. Among girls at the age of 10-12, Victoriya Chumak won the competition, Setora Yunusova was the second and Yuliya Petrova – third.
At the age of 13-14, Islom Hazratov from Navoi clinched the first place among the boys. Biloliddin Kuchkarbaev was the second and Makhammad Karimov was third. Yevgeniya Barinova, Sevinch Sadiqova and Mohinur Davlatova were the first, second and third respectively among girls.
Makhamad Karimov and Biloliddin Kuchkarbaev from Andijan won the boys’ doubles tournament. Islom Hazratov and Refat Settarov from Navoi won the silver and Mirsaid Huseynov and Jalol Jamolov clinched bronze medals.
Yevgeniya Barinova and Sevich Sadiqova won the gold medals in the competition of girls’ doubles, Valeriya Jurayeva and Zaynab Qadirova were silver medalists. Mohinur Davlatova and Mohirabonu Echonova claimed bronze medals.
In mixed competition, Islom Hazratov and Valeriya Juraev were the first, Makhamad Karimov and Mahlyo Habibullaeva and Biloliddin Quchqarbaev and Mohigul Karimov were second and third respectively.
The winners received diplomas and medals, as well as prizes.
