Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The semifinals of the Women’s Asian Boxing Championship concluded in Thailand, where Uzbekistan's team showcased an impressive performance.
On 7 December, nine Uzbek boxers stepped into the ring, with seven advancing to the finals. Unfortunately, Sabina Bobokulova and Sokhiba Ruzmetova fell short but will leave the tournament with bronze medals.
The Uzbekistan women’s team leads the championship with the highest number of finalists. Seven Uzbek boxers will compete for gold, followed by Kazakhstan with five finalists and the host nation, Thailand, with four contenders.
