Uzbekistan Wins Nine Medals on First Day of Asian Junior Judo Championships

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Following the conclusion of the cadet competitions in Indonesia, the Asian Junior Judo Championships officially began.

On the first day, the Uzbek national team delivered an outstanding performance, securing three gold, three silver, and three bronze medals.

Gold medals were claimed by Samariddin Kuchkarov in the under-60 kg category, Dilshodbek Khamroev in the under-66 kg category, and Sugdiyona Rafkatova in the under-52 kg category.

Silver medals went to Bunyod Safarov (under 73 kg), Raykhona Mamatorva (under 57 kg), and Nigina Saparboeva (under 63 kg).

Bronze medals were won by Mukhriddin Marufov (under 73 kg), Sevinch Murodova (under 48 kg), and Mokhinur Allaberganova (under 57 kg).
