Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- An international G1 taekwondo competition has started in the capital of Russia. It should be noted that on the first day of the open championship, our representatives managed to win four gold medals.
Among men, Jasur Jaysunov (-68 kg) won gold, and among the girls Feruza Sadikova (-62 kg), Nigor Tursunkulova (-67 kg) and Svetlana Osipova (+73 kg) won first places in their weight categories.
It should be noted that the winners of the tournament have a chance to win license points in Tokyo 2020. Uzbek athletes managed to claim 10 rating points. As of today, eight more of our taekwondoers will rise to Dayan.
