At early morning (04:50 Tashkent time), hundreds of football fans across Uzbekistan, mass media representatives and relatives of Irmatov and Ilyasov arrived to Tashkent airport to welcome their heroes. President of Uzbekistan Football Federation Mirabror Usmanov was also among crowd.

Uzbek referees were welcomed with ovations and local music. Both Irmatov and Ilyasov were open for interviews and photo sessions despite long flight.

Irmatov said that they are tired from training, lectures and matches, but added that they are satisfied from their performance. He said that his trio with Kyrgyzstan’s Bakhodir Kochkorov did not make serious mistakes, which could affect the match result.

Uzbek referee expressed hope that Uzbekistan national team and his trio will be present at next World Cup in Brazil in 2014.
