The document was inked in Tashkent by the Uzbek Agency on standardization, metrology and certification and Department on standards and quality of Vietnam.

Department on standards and quality under Ministry of Justice and Technology is national body on standardization of Vietnam. It was founded in 1977 and it represents International Organization of Standardization (ISO).

The Vietnamese Department includes Vietnamese Standards Center, Vietnamese Metrology Institute, Vietnamese Bureau on accreditation and Vietnamese Service of Certification.

During the visit to Uzbekistan, the Vietnamese delegation familiarizes with standardization, metrology and certification system of Uzbekistan, system on ensuring single measurement and sample base of Uzbekistan, test centers and laboratories, etc.
