This was announced at the international conference on actual issues of preventing women oncology, which was held at Tashkent Institute of Improving Doctors’ Skills.

It was said that Uzbekistan pays great attention of prevention of oncology diseases among women and conducts large work in this area.

UzA reported that the Ministry of Healthcare of Uzbekistan in cooperation with Fund Forum, Soglom Avlod Uchun Foundation, and the UNFPA held several meetings.

Screening centers on conducting cytohystologic diagnosis were opened in Anijan, Nukus, Navoi and Tashkent cities. State and non-governmental organizations actively hold various charity events.

During the conference, participants discussed new methods of treating cervix of the uterus cancer and strengthening reproductive health of population, etc.
