Uzbekistan U-23 to host Australia in JAR stadium
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Uzbekistan U-23 will receive Australia in JAR Stadium in Tashkent. The match is held within the third round of London Olympic Games qualifiers, the Uzbekistan Football Federation (UFF) said.
Earlier some media outlets reported that the match will be held in Karshi, but the UFF decided to hold the match in the capital city.
The UFF said that the match against Australia attracts huge interests of the fans and it is expedient to hold the match in Pakhtakor Stadia, which can accept more people. But Pakhtakor Stadia will be closed for reconstruction till June.
The match between Uzbekistan and Australia will be held on 5 February 2012. The kick off time will be announced soon.
