Uzbekistan U-20 defeats Iraq in friendly match

Pakhtakor midfielder Abbosbek Mahstaliev opened the score on 8 minutes. After seven minutes, Uzbekistan could double the lead, but Jaloliddin Masharipov failed to score from penalty.

In the second half, Uzbekistan coach Ahmadjon Musaev made several changes and substitute Diyorbek Turopov scored the second goal of Uzbekistan.

Uzbekistan and Iraq played the first friendly match on 24 May and Iraq won the match with the score 1-0.

Uzbekistan U-20 is currently preparing to the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Turkey, which will be held this summer. Uzbekistan is in Group A along with New Zealand, Croatia and Uruguay.
