Asliddin Abdiev opened the scoring 60 seconds from the half-time interval and added his second and Uzbekistan’s third in the 63rd minute, 12 minutes after Bobir Davlatov had doubled the Central Asian side’s advantage.

The defeat was India’s second of the campaign and put them out of the reckoning for a place in next year’s finals while the Uzbeks will go head-to-head with Group A hosts and fellow table-toppers Qatar on Saturday with the team that emerges victorious booking their ticket to Myanmar.

The winners of the nine groups and the six best runners-up will join hosts Myanmar in next year’s AFC U-19 Championship.
