The tournament will be held from 29 May to 5 June 2014, the press service of Uzbekistan Football Federation (UFF) said.

Uzbekistan will play in Group D along with Turkey and Kazakhstan. Overall, 12 teams will participate in the tournament. All teams, except Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan, will feature players under age of 17. Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan will field players under age of 16.

Uzbekistan will kick off tournament with the match against Kazakhstan on 30 May and face Turkey on 1 June.

Uzbekistan U-16 will participate in the AFC U-16 Championship in Thailand, which will be held from 6 to 20 September 2014.

Uzbekistan was grouped along with Kuwait, Nepal and North Korea in Group C.
