Alexandr Mochinov’s side clinched a 3-2 victory over North Korea in the second round of the group stage.

North Korea started match strongly and opened the score on 16 minutes with effort of Han Kwang Song on 16 minutes.

Sukhrob Nurulloev scored an equalizer on 40 minutes with a stunning shot, while Abdugani Ganijonov gave a lead to Uzbekistan at the end of the first half.

On 57 minutes, Sukhrob Nurulloev recorded the brace. But two minutes later Jong Chang Bom netted the second goal of North Korea.

Uzbekistan has four points after two matches and had good chance to advance to play-offs of the tournament.
