Uzbekistan U-16 ends qualification campaign with victory

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan U-16 wrapped up qualification round of the AFC U-16 Championship with a 2-1 victory over Tajikistan in Tashkent on 9 October 2011.

After booking their places at the final stage of the AFC U-16 Championship, Uzbekistan head coach Dilshod Nuraliev gave chance to unused players.

The match was balanced. But Uzbekistan used their chances better than their opponents. Muzzaffar Ismoilov opened the score in the 20th minute and Muhiddin Odilov doubled the lead of Uzbekistan sixteen minutes later.

Tajikistan’s Bobomirzo Barotov scored the last goal of the match in the early part of the second half. The match ended with the score 2-1.
