Uzbekistan U-16 coach Dilshod Nuraliev said the squad will hold two more friendly matches against Almalyk and Metallurg on 18 September and 21 September.

Dilshod Nuraliev said that the training is taking place in line with plans. He said that 25 players are preparing to the official matches.

Uzbekistan U-16 will complete its training in Tashkent on 27 September and will start to feature at the AFC U-16 Championship qualification round. The matches will be held in Tashkent on 1-9 October.

Uzbekistan is in Group C along with Bahrain, India, Kyrgyz Republic and Tajikistan.
