Timur Alimkhodjaev’s side play the first match against Istanbulspor youngsters on 23 August and won with the score 7-1.

On 25 August, Uzbekistan U-16 clinched a 7-0 victory over Zaraspor U-17, the federation underlined.

Final match of Uzbekistan U-16 was held on 27 August against Besiktas U-17 and it ended with a 3-2 win of the Uzbek side. Uzbekistan will return home on 29 August.

Uzbekistan is preparing to the AFC U-16 Championship, which will be held in Thailand in 2014. The qualification round will be on 25-29 September 2013 in Tashkent. Uzbekistan will face Palestine, Yemen and Maldives in Group B.
