Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- From 24 to 28 October 2022, Morocco, Kingdom of Morocco hosts the World Social Security Forum organized by the International Social Security Association (ISSA).

Within the framework of this forum, a meeting was held between the Executive Director of the off-budget Pension Fund under the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan and and the President of the Turkish Social Security Institute Kurshad Arat.

At the meeting, the issues of approving a joint cooperation agreement, regular exchange of experience and accelerating work on the application of new innovative projects in the industry were discussed in detail.

The World Social Security Forum (WSSF) is the most important international event in the field of social security. WSSF brings together over 1,000 participants from 150 countries, including officials, senior executives and international experts.

The participants in the forum will discuss the basic role of social security, the best reform strategies, and issues related to innovation in sustainable, adequate, and accessible social security systems. Discussions are based on the new International Social Security Association global report, which analyzes social security strategies in the context of rapid labor market transformations, demographic change, and technological development.
