According to the document, the name of Chingiz Aitmatov will be given to a street in Tashkent, and a writer’s bust will be installed at the school No.33 of Parkent district of Tashkent region.

As part of celebrating the significant date, it is planned to publish a book of memoirs "Chingiz Aitmatov and Uzbekistan", the document says.

It is also planned to create a documentary about the life and work of the writer, as well as to stage a new play and make a feature film based on his works.

A scientific conference "Chingiz Aitmatov and Uzbek Literature" will be held in Uzbekistan. Also, it is planned to organize thematic meetings and literary evenings in schools, universities, military units and labor collectives with the participation of famous poets, writers and scientists.

In the second decade of December a creative evening dedicated to the memory of Chingiz Aitmatov will take place in the Uzbek National Academic Drama Theater.
