Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) —  Uzbekistan intends to strengthen the combat and moral potential of its armed forces. On 20 November, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev made this statement while addressing the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, outlining priorities for the next five years.

The President emphasized that in the face of a complex and unstable global situation, protecting the country’s independence, peaceful life, and security is a key task.

According to the President, it is essential to continue improving the combat readiness and morale of the military personnel.

"We must never forget: the security and defense of our country is a sacred duty not only for the armed forces and law enforcement agencies but for all citizens who consider Uzbekistan their homeland, regardless of their nationality, language, or religion. For this, the sense of belonging to the homeland and a united multinational family must be deeply rooted in the heart and mind of each of us," said Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
