On 19 January, the session of the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan was held in Tashkent, which discussed social-economic development of Uzbekistan in 2011 and important priorities of economic programmes for 2012.

Islam Karimov said that the work on development of the state programme “The Year of Family” is close to completion.

Uzbek President said that about 60% of all these resources will be state resources, 25% - loans of commercial banks, 15% - own resources of programme executors and over US$360 million – resources of international institutes and donor-states.

Islam Karimov said that it is planned to allocate huge resources and large volume of works are waiting Uzbekistan. He said that each family in Uzbekistan should feel support and help.

As reported earlier, Uzbekistan announced 2012 as the Year of Family.
