In interview with Kulture.uz edition, chairperson of Uzbektourism national company Farrukh Rizaev said that Uzbektourism developed and submitted a draft resolution “On measures on improving order of licensing and conducting tourism activity” to the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan.

The document was developed to further improve order of licensing and conducting tourism activities, creating additional conditions for small businesses.

He said that number of private accommodation place is growing in Uzbekistan, which should obtain license. The resolution will create simplified order of registration of the guests. Currently, the guest houses should register the guests at the interior affairs departments, he recalled.

At the same time, they should have huge charter capital to obtain a license. In line with new resolution, the family enterprises, which provide accommodation for tourists, and tour agencies, which provide services for Uzbek citizens, can have lesser charter capital. He said that the resolution includes other positive moments.
