New prices were set by the Ministry of Finance in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education, ministries and departments.

In line with newly set prices, the contract for Bachelor degree will cost from 3.65 million soums to 5.3 million soums, which depends on direction of education.

Students of Master degree should pay from 3.96 million soums to 5.83 million soums for their education. The same sum should be paid to obtain second degree.

In near academic year, universities of Uzbekistan will accept 56,607 students to Bachelor degree and 6,300 to Master degree.

Over 431,500 people submitted applications to university enrollment this year. The competition for one place makes up 7.6 persons.
