Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan is focusing on further improving the infrastructure for supplying electricity to consumers. The President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev stated this today.
According to him, in the next five years, only 70 thousand kilometers of low-voltage power grids, 22 thousand transformers and more than 100 substations will be completely updated.
“Also, 10 thousand kilometers of new high-voltage transmission networks will be built,” noted the head of Uzbekistan.
