Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Starting from 2025, Uzbekistan will implement a national time scale, UTC (UZ). This is stated in a resolution by the Cabinet of Ministers.

To implement this initiative, a Time and Frequency Service will be established at the Institute of Metrology.

This service will be responsible for providing accurate time information.

Precise time will be made available to interested parties on a commercial basis through a public-private partnership with the company Uztelcom.
