The Government of Uzbekistan issued a decree on the establishment and organization of the festival.

The festival will be held from 2018 once in two years. The festival will be held in such areas as folk art and puppetry.

The final stage of the festival will be held in the Nurata district of Navoi region of Uzbekistan.

The winners in each nomination will be awarded a cash prize of US$3,500. The cash prize for the second place is set at US$2,500 and for the third place - US$1,500.
