President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a resolution “On measures on ensuring speedy development of internal tourism”.

According to the document, the festivals “City Week” will be held in the cities of Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva, Shakhrisabz, Termez, Kokand, Margilan and Tashkent.

Within the framework of the festivals, various concert programs, theatrical performances and other events will be held, which are aimed at increasing knowledge of the students about the history, culture and traditions of the Uzbek people.

Also in the country will host on a regular basis international and republican bicycles and bike marathons, as well as tournaments on a tourist hike through cities and other tourist destinations.
