Uzbekistan to host a summit of students

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – A summit of girl-students “Qizlarjon” will be held in Samarkand on 23-26 March 2019 for the firts time.

The summit was organized jointly with the Ministry of Public Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Women’s Committee, the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education, the Central Council of the Youth Union and the khokimiyat of the Samarkand region, the press service of the Women’s Committee reports

The goal of the summit, which is held under the slogan "Science is the basis of the future", is to develop the knowledge and skills of pupils-girls, increasing their social and political activity.

At the summit from each region can participate 10 girls at the age of 14-18 years in the following areas:

• Coordinators of the club Qizlarjon;
• winners of international and republican subject olympiads;
• handicraft students;
• students who are authors of innovative ideas;
• girls involved in ICT;
• female students, successfully mastered the subjects;
• honors pupils who are pupils of orphanages;
• regional heads of the Youth Union of Uzbekistan;
• girls who are registered in preventive institutions.

The Summit will include various seminars, activities and skills of TED-Ed clubs, Soft skills, modern ICT capabilities and ways to implement them, innovation management, marketing and PR promotion.
