Uzbekistan 08/10/2007 Uzbekistan to hold rotating CIS chairmanship

Uzbekistan will hold the rotating CIS chairmanship, and Bishkek, capital of Kyrgyzstan, will host the next summit in September 2008, the Kazakh president told the post-Soviet group on Friday.

"We have agreed to hold another summit of the CIS member countries in Bishkek in September 2008," Nursultan Nazarbayev said.
