Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan will face the United Arab Emirates in the quarterfinals of the AFC U-23 Championship in Thailand.

The match will be held on 19 January.  The match kick off time is at 18:15. The winner of the match will book berth in the final stage of 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.

In other quarterfinal matches, Australia will face Syria, while South Korea will entertain Jordan. Hosts Thailand will play against Saudi Arabia.

The winner of the match between Uzbekistan and the UAE will face either Saudi Arabia or Thailand in semifinals.
