The draw ceremony was held in Sydney on 26 March 2014. Uzbekistan was grouped along with Saudi Arabia, China and North Korea.

In Group A included Australia, South Korea, Oman and Kuwait. Iran, UAE, Qatar and Bahrain are in Group C.

Japan, Jordan, Iraq and the winner of Challenge Cup-2014 will play in Group D.

Uzbekistan will play its first match against North Korea on 10 January 2015. Four days later, Uzbekistan will face China. On 18 March, Uzbekistan will play against Saudi Arabia.
