Uzbekistan to face North Korea in first match
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
AFC Competitions Department announced the calendar of the AFC U-19 Championship, which will take place on 3-17 October 2010 in Zibo, China.
Uzbekistan U-19 led by Marat Kabaev will play against North Korea on 3 October in Linzi Stadium. North Korea is one of the favourites of the tournament. In 2006, North Korea already won the Asian Championship.
Marat Kabaev’s side will face Bahrain in the second match. The match will be held on 7 October. Last opponent of Uzbekistan in Group stage will be Iraq. The match will be held at the Zibo Sports Center on 9 October.
Four semifinalists of the AFC U-19 Championship will book their places to the World Championship in 2010, which will be held in Columbia.
