Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) —  During his visit to Qatar, Uzbekistan’s Minister of Digital Technologies Sherzod Shermatov met with the Deputy Chairman of EXCOM Khalid Mannai, the head of Mannai Corporation Alekh Grewal, the CEO of the Mannai Group, and the Vice President of Information Technology Binu MR.

The meeting focused on the establishment of an offshore service delivery center in the field of information technology in Uzbekistan.

Additionally, a project to create a specialized IT initiative aimed at enhancing staff qualifications and reducing employment costs was discussed. This project is expected to involve collaboration between Mannai Corporation and other IT companies in Qatar. The creation of a specialized IT training center was also considered.

As a result of the meeting, a memorandum of understanding was signed between Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Digital Technologies and Mannai Corporation.
