The document was adopted to create efficient system on preparation of athletes of international classes, who can represent Uzbekistan at international arena – Olympic and Asian Games, World Championships, Asian Championships, as well as other international competitions, etc.

Uzbek leader approved a proposal of the Ministry of Culture and Sport Affairs, Ministry of Public Education, Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Finance, Uzbekistan National Olympic Committee on creation of 14 sport schools of higher skills in 2016-2020 in Karakalpakstan, all regions and Tashkent city.

The schools will create modern base for training athletes for Olympic and Asian Games, World and Asian Championships, as well as other international and regional competitions, strengthen cooperation with the youth sport schools, colleges, etc.

The schools will hold sport camps of national teams and their reserves, republican and regional sport competitions, develop cooperation with foreign sport schools, clubs and centers on exchange of experience.

The athletes at the sport schools will be provided with free accommodation and four time meals, as well as sport forms.
