According to the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan, the main tasks of the centers will be to develop creative and art abilities of the children based on their needs and interests, as well as organization of their recreation.

The center will also transfer diligence and professional skills to children, develop children technical creativity with organization of training on working with technical equipment and computers.

The government introduced parental fee for training at the children centers Barkamol avlod at the size of 10% of minimal salary per month for regional centers, Nukus and Tashkent. The fee set at 5% for other districts and cities of Uzbekistan. The document said that the funds will be directed to purchase necessary materials for the centers.

According to the resolution, the children centers Barkamol avlod will be created on the base of existing nonschool education establishments. Overall, some 215 centers will be created across Uzbekistan. Largest number of centers will be opened in Tashkent city (21), Ferghana region (19) and Andijan region (18).

The resolution said that 30 children centers will be created in Uzbekistan in 2011, 51 in 2012, 64 in 2013 and 70 in 2014.
