Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Ministry of Culture and Tourism signed a memorandum of understanding with the leading company Visa Fasilitation Services Global (VFS Global) as part of the international tourism fair Arabian Travel Market (ATM-2023), which is taking place from 1 to 4 May this year in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

VFS Global was founded in 2001 and has branches in 145 countries around the world. VFS Global has also signed service agreements with 67 countries, including the governments of Azerbaijan, Turkiye, Belarus and Ukraine. The company provides about 20 types of services related to the preparation of visa documents, the provision of consular services, in particular marketing research and the creation of PR companies, with the help of more than 9,000 expert employees.

The purpose of this memorandum is to widely promote the tourism potential of Uzbekistan as a priority in the world tourism markets, using the existing capabilities of VFS Global, in particular, through online and / or offline marketing campaigns, to increase awareness and aimed at increasing the flow of tourists to Uzbekistan not only from the Emirates, but also from all over the world.

The ceremony of exchange of memorandums took place on 3 May 2023 with the participation of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the UAE A. Akkulov and the President of VFS Global A. Marv.

As a result of the event, an agreement was reached between the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and VFS Global to further strengthen cooperation in the field of tourism, as well as the implementation of marketing and PR campaigns aimed at improving the image of Uzbekistan abroad.
