The Government of Uzbekistan approved a programme on development of service sector for 2016-2020. According to the programme, Uzbekistan plans to build 50 hotels, 30 campings and 20 pensions.

The document said that Uzbekistan will construct 15 objects of hotel infrastructure in 2016, 35 objects – in 2017, 35 objects – in 2018 and 15 objects in 2019.

The programme also envisages construction of 100 campings in rural areas to develop agriculture tourism. These objects will provide new types of hotel services on system “all included”.

Uzbekistan plans to construct 35 such objects in 2016 and the same number in 2017. Fifteen campings will be constructed in 2018 and another 15 in 2019.
