A draft resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers “On measures to further stimulate creation and development of national content on the Internet” was published on the portal of the RIA.

The programme will be aimed at stimulating development and popularization of national content and web resources, creating a system for their organizational, logistical and financial support.

It will also include measures to fill the national segment of the Internet, create and develop information resources, media products, artistic, animated and documentary films, which are popular among users, especially young people, as well as development of media and Internet journalism.

The programme will include measures to develop national content in national and international social networks, improve te performance of national social networks and messengers, increase the audience and increase their attractiveness.

It is planned to implement measures to further promote and popularize created information resources.

The document envisages measures to improve the legislation of Uzbekistan in this direction.
