Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A Presidential Decree has been adopted titled "On Amendments and Additions, as well as the Repeal of Certain Acts of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan that Provide Tax and Customs Benefits".

According to the Decree, starting from 1 January 2025:

- VAT exemptions will be abolished for the turnover from passenger transport services offered at unified rates, provided by legal entities whose sole participants are public associations of persons with disabilities.

- The exemption from paying land tax for legal entities on lands where new orchards, vineyards, and mulberry groves are planted will be revoked, though the tax rate for these plots will be reduced by 50 percent.
